Welcome Malou - our new intern

Tell us a little about yourself!

My name is Malou Andersson, I am 23 years old and live in Karlskoga with my partner. In my spare time, I usually take the opportunity to meet my family and friends over coffee, dinner or a walk.

Otherwise, I study at Karlstad University where I study media and communication and will now do 10 weeks of internship here at Digitalpartner. In addition to my studies, I also work extra at a gym in Karlskoga where I take care of the reception and customer service, so I also take the opportunity to exercise a little after work when there is enough time.

Can you tell us a bit more about your education?

I am studying a 3-year programme in media and communication with a focus on digital media and analysis. The programme starts very broadly with common courses in media and communication science and then focuses on digital media and analysis and then the programme also goes over to English. Now I'm doing my penultimate course in the programme where I have a 10-week internship and in the spring I'll be writing my C thesis. So in June I will have a bachelor's degree in media and communication studies.

What are you most looking forward to about the internship?

I think it will be exciting to see what it is like to work with digital media in practice and not just read about it theoretically. The best thing about my internship is that I will get to try out all the different parts of working at a media agency. It's perfect for me to get a feel for it and see what I enjoy most.
