WELCOME Alina - OUR NEW TRAINEE
Alina is in her final semester at TUC University of Applied Sciences in Jönköping, where she is studying for the E-Commerce Manager programme. She will be one of the few in Sweden to graduate from the programme. For 12 weeks she will do her internship with us at Digital partner.
I found my programme by chance but knew immediately that it was my thing! How right I was. Have never hesitated over the choice of education. Can't wait to work with it after graduation.
SOME QUESTIONS & ANSWERS WITH Alina
CAN YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF?
My name is Alina and I turn 31 in two days! I live in Örebro and study at a distance while working at the Swedish Transport Agency.
In my free time I like to spend time with my loved ones. I am an open and cheerful person. I enjoy having people around me and like to treat myself. Enjoy evenings with great company and lots of laughter. Prefer cooking to baking, I leave that to my partner! Have always liked to photograph but unfortunately it has become less lately. LOVE travelling, so eagerly waiting for the world to recover and return to normal. But also appreciate home cosiness, just sitting in front of the TV or reading a good book.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE DISH?
I have no favourite dish. Love basically everything with seafood in it and sushi.
WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT WORKING IN DIGITAL MARKETING?
- That the industry is constantly changing
- Always something new to learn
I think it's important to constantly evolve in the profession and love to learn new things. I really like how much information or tips can be found. There are podcasts, courses or newsletters you can take part in to develop and find new ways of strategising. And we also get a unique opportunity to witness how society is more or less forced into the digital world due to the ongoing pandemic. It is very instructive to see how companies develop new and exciting solutions to survive while helping their customers find them digitally. It really feels that the programme and the industry as a whole are so timely.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE COURSE IN THE E-commerce manager programme?
So hard to find just one course. I think the e-commerce manager programme as a whole has been incredibly well adapted to the industry. Courses that I have particularly liked are communication and team building and strategic business intelligence. I think that no matter what job you have, it is important to know how to communicate with your employees so it was very educational for me. The second course on strategic business intelligence is exactly what it sounds like. I thought the course was very interesting and you got to learn a lot that has to do with analyses. But I still think that the LIA is the most fun. The first LIA was very exciting because there was so much new and instructive. It was super fun to apply what you have learnt in a real workplace.
WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO WITH YOUR TRAINEESHIP?
Learning new things that I missed during my first LIA. To immerse myself in things that I find interesting and of course learn lots of new and interesting things! I'm also looking forward to making new professional contacts and getting into the industry.
