Who are you?

My name is Alan Monfared and I'm 32 years old, I'm studying to be a frontend developer at EC education in Västerås.

I have tried a lot in my life, both in professional and sports life. I have played a lot of football in my young days and played for most teams in Västerås. I have also tried martial arts such as Jujutsu, kickboxing and boxing. After high school, I have worked in many different industries such as chef, photographer, transport, integration and craftsman.

In my spare time I spend a lot of time with my family and friends. I also like travelling a lot. But right now I'm not travelling so much because Covid-19 has unfortunately stopped it all.

What is your favourite dish?

Persian food!

What is the best thing about web development?

That you get to be creative and that I get to be with this digital world that I think will take over more and more. Programming for me is a bit like playing games and I just want to finish my code so I can see the result.

Which course do you think has been the most fun so far?

I think all the courses have been fun in their own way, but if I have to choose, I think JavaScript is very exciting.
