Facebook Image size

Facebook remains the most popular social network in the world. As with websites, the majority of Facebook visitors use mobile phones. Therefore, it is important that images are adapted for mobile devices.

Recommended image sizes for Facebook:

  • Facebook profile picture size: 180 x 180 px
  • Facebook cover image size: 851 x 315 px
  • Facebook shared image (regular post): 1200 x 630 px
  • Facebook link image (selected image from the website): 1200 x 628
  • Facebook event cover image: 1920 x 1080 px

Instagram Image size

Instagram is the big star when it comes to sharing images and videos. Today, Instagram stories are the ones that get the most reach from Instagram's algorithms. Remember to create a nice flow on your Instagram profile by publishing well-thought-out images and videos.

Recommended image sizes for Instagram:

  • Instagram profile picture size: 180 x 180 px
  • Instagram image size: 1080 x 1080 px (square), 1080 x 566 px (landscape) or 1080 x 1350 px (portrait)
  • Instagram stories: 1080 x 1920 px
  • Minimum Instagram video size: 600 x 600 (square), 600 x 315 (landscape) or 600 x 750 (portrait)

Linkedin Image size
