Because they are filled with user data. Information about everything from which page your customers first visit on your website to what your customers write in reviews and which of your posts they like is so valuable. With the help of your customers' user data, you can find out an incredible amount of valuable information that can help you with your digital strategy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The website<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To find out how users behave on your website, there are tools such as <a href=\"https:\/\/analytics.google.com\/analytics\/web\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/analytics.google.com\/analytics\/web\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Google Analytics<\/a> which collects user data. You can read more about Google Analytics and what data it collects in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalpartner.se\/en\/knowledge-bank\/google-analytics-5-reports-you-should-not-miss\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.digitalpartner.se\/kunskapsbank\/google-analytics-5-rapporter-du-inte-far-missa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this post<\/a> we wrote earlier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What I want you to take away from this is that using the data it collects, you can find out important things such as where your users first land, which you can use by, for example, displaying offers there if you have an e-commerce. Or, which pages they stay on the longest, you can then think about what is particularly interesting about those pages and try to do the same on other pages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Buying behaviours<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Data on your customers' buying behaviour is also worth its weight in gold. For example, if you have data on what your customers have bought in the past, you can use it to market similar products to those customers in the future. Or if you have data that many people who bought 'item 1' also bought 'item 2', then you can tell your customers that! If many others have been interested in both products, it is very possible that they are too. Then you can find out which of your products you sell the most of and tell your customers, then maybe more people will see it and become interested. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this way, you can use the user data of your customers to get new or returning customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Behaviour on social media <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Another thing you should take advantage of is the data on how your customers behave on social media. What do your customers want to see more of? You can find out by looking at how they engage with your posts, what do they like, share and comment on most? Take advantage of that information and make similar posts to get more spread and engagement on social media. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also do an event on Instagram, for example, where you ask them straight out \"What do you want to see more of from me?\", there's a great question template you can use or you can do a poll where you ask if they like one or the other more. But keep in mind how many people respond. If you have 1000 followers and only 20 see the event and respond, you need to keep in mind that the 20 cannot represent all 1000 but maybe you get a hint. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reviews<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Even reviews are great! Imagine that customers voluntarily enter and leave reviews. To get reviews, you can, for example, ask if they would like to review you with a link to <a href=\"https:\/\/se.trustpilot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/se.trustpilot.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">trustpilot<\/a> in your order confirmation or why not send out a thank you email to your customers when they are expected to have received their goods saying that you hope they are satisfied and that you would be happy if they share their opinion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> For every customer that comes in and gives you a good review, there is a greater chance that new customers will trust you. Not only does it look good if you have a high score on trustpilot, for example, but that user data is also something you can use in your marketing to show that you can be trusted. And if your customer gives you constructive criticism, take it on board and think about what you can do differently next time to get those 5 stars. You can always improve and reviews are a great way to see what you can improve on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">GDPR<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Something to keep in mind when collecting user data is the GDPR, for example, you need to have a cookie banner on your website if you collect data about your users there.
